I got up early and took a couple of rifles to the range this a.m. Temp. was about 58 dgrees at daybreak here in KY. I took my T/C Omega .50 and my Green Mountain .54 Brush Rifle. I had a BUNCH of sabot/bullet combos to try. Most combinations shot very well. To make a long story short.....I found a combination for both rifles that shot clover leafs at 100 yards!

For the Omega it was 300 Hornady XTP, HPH-12 sabot, 80gr. T7, t7 primer. 3 shot groups, bullet holes touching.

For the Green Mountain .54 It was 350gr. Sierra Sports Master HP, MMP .54/.50 (purple) sabot, 80gr. T7, T7 primer. Again, 3 shots groups, all touching. This rifle is AMAZING! 20" barrel and it will shoot as good or better than any other rifle I have!

Had a great day, great weather, and great results.
