Just beware the .451/250 is not a Gold Dot - they do not make a .451/250 in a Gold Dot any longer... the .451/250 is UniCore.

To get a Gold Dot in 250 it will be a .452.

thanks sabotloader ..452 is fine if i can find any.how good is the UniCore? been shooting barnes and thought about switching to partions but they a very high.

I think there's a little confusion about the 250 Gold Dot. Speer makes only one 250 grain bullet in 45 caliber, and it's the .452 Gold Dot/Uni-Cor Construction designed for the .45 Colt.

They also list the .452 300 grain Gold Dot Casull as Uni-Cor Construction. Their .451 bullets are 185, 200 and 230 grains designed for the 45 Auto - all GD/UC Construction.

I have had 250gr gold dots on backorder with Midsouth since Midapril. A wait patiently.
