I was doing my final sight in today. About the third shot, I noticed some white liquid on my bolt face. It's the antiseize lubricant from the breech plug. I did do a complete cleaning on the gun and I do absolutely smother those breech plug threads with lube :) I'm thinking the third shot warmed the lube up enough to liquify it and the excess leaked off the threads. Thoughts?

Nothing to worry about IMO. When I apply "The Stik" anti-seize, I cut the end off a cotton swab, put anti-seize on that and then apply it to the threads in the barrel. I also put it on the plug.
Good luck hunting.

I had a similar problem with excessive lubricant on the breech plug. Caused a misfire and the excess lubricant had covered the front of the BP and vent liner wetting the powder. Fortunately it was at the range and I just cleaned the BP, lubricated it a bit more conservatively and continued my session.

As the other fellow said, "Go hunting"
