A while back I had started playing with BH209 in my 45 cal and started experiencing vertical stringing. I had never seen this with T7. So I got to thinking and was thinking about how my poweder flask doesn't dispense BH209 all that wel. So, being the anal retentive engineer I am I did a gauge R&R. It was while back, and I'm not sure where I put the results, but I weighed 30 charges by volume of BH209 in 10 gr by volume increments from 50 to 1550gr, and then weighed each charge. Anyways the spread was pretty high.
So now, I weigh all of my hunting charges. It's not practicle for me to weigh all of my range charges, so I usually weigh a few and throw them in speed loaders just to ensure nothing has changed.
