Does anyone have any insight as to when Thor will come out with their .45 bullets? Their website said 2009.

nothing yet. terry ran into a problem with .45cals being sold in a huge variety with different bore sizes even from the same company. Im getting some pre production black thors to try out which are a one size fits all bullet, if these do good, maybe it will be available for the .45cals.

If you have the right drill press and jig.

You can always take a plated .45* bullet and drill out the bottom and make a skirt. I realize the Thor is a solid copper and a premium product but it would be a fun experiment. A swaging die would be a huge help too :p

IMO just a good copper plated Great Plains HPHB 45cal would be great since Hornady discontinued the 45 GP.
