Here's a question, I know the farther the distance the wider the pattern, BUT, does the center of the pattern drop (like a bullet does) the farther out you go, or are the normal turkey distances to close for this to be a factor?
 
Don't see it being a factor inside 50 yards. Which is farther that most would shoot a turkey.

Look at your pattern at 25 yards. It usually surrounds the head and is pretty dense.

Now, imagine if the whole pattern dropped 2" but stayed just as dense. No big deal.

But, the wider spread at longer range IS a big deal. So to answer your question, don't worry about drop!
