I shot him at 5:02pm on opening day... It was my intent to roost him but he answered the call, stepped out into the field, and made a bee-line to my decoy... Oh well, got to sleep in on Thursday.

A couple years back, my entire turkey season lasted 35 minutes. Sometimes you have to decide, do I want to sit out here with the mosquitoes and woodticks and let this gobbler walk so I can hunt longer, or do I want to put him in the truck...

I do what you did... I never pass a good Tom. Again, congratulations.
