I'm looking for information on loads and projectiles for my TC Scout .54 rifle and carbine. I've had them for years but haven't hunted with them for at least 15 years. I'll be hunting elk and mule deer in Colorado and will take both barrels along. My preference would be to carry my carbine and shoot patched round balls. I don't know the twist rate of either barrel or how well they shoot round balls. My second choice would be Maxi-balls or Maxi-hunters. Would appreciate any input.
Thanks

Try calling Thompson center I did two years ago and they sent me via email 92 pages of load data for all there rifles if you fail with them I would try sending it to you but no telling what my come through with my computer skills lol.

Here's the same info in a friendlier to look at format. I found info that the Scout has a 1:32 twist. It didn't specify rifle or carbine.
