Went out sunday to shoot at 100 yds. Prior to this I had shot only at 50yds. Shot 5 with 100 gr. BH209, 240 xtp mag blk sabot. Was all over the place (6") It looked as though the bullet was tumbling. Shot 5 with 100gr. Bh209 300gr. xtp mag, blk sabot. (1 1/4")Shot 5 with 100gr. BH209, 300 gr. xtp mag w/ cr sabot. (1 1/2") Shot 5 with 100gr. BH209, Scorpion 300 gr. Blk sabot (1") Shot 5 with 100gr. Bh209, Scorpion 300gr. cr sabot. (2 1/2") Shot 3 precision 260 gr. 100gr.BH209, blk sabot .Shot high and right but held 1 1/4" group. Need to try MMP sabots next. This Accura is really something. Am new to this, so these groups are just amazing to me. Thanks to all. I read this forum constantly trying to soak in as much info as i can. Which is difficult for someone in the 60 yr. range.

Sounds like you have a winner jatopa. Thirty shots makes for a nice long range session, and it's really fun when you get groups like that.

It sounds like you have a good rifle and had a good day at the range. That is the way to do it.

Yeah, that bh209 is the best. So easy to clean.I do think that the ccim primers leave a lot of blow back. If that's the proper term. I'mm thinking 110 gr. of powder also.
