Finally got tired of my brother in law telling me that he couldnt use a muzzleloader during his new mexico rifle season (oct 25) and so i looked up the game and fish # and asked them and then had to call my bro in law to rub his nose in it. His little 22-250 with a 40gr bullet is what he originally planned on using but i got a better set up.
If he can shoot it worth a darn and handle the rifle, my CVA Optima will be getting its cherry popped a lot earlier than expected.
He has a mule deer buck tag. Im getting my stuff packed now and leave next thursday so he has some range time with the rifle and can get it sighted in for his eyes.
