I have been shooting my .50 cal Encore alot lately with 110 gr of BH209, .44 cal XTP's with a Crushed rib sabot. I am getting very consistant 1" groups at 100 with it. I have noticed though that my sabots are flaring at the base. Is this normal or is it something to worry about?

It's normal. As long as you're shooting good groups it really doesn't matter what the sabot does after the bullet leaves it.

Thats what I figured  I dont want to change anything, I LOVE the way it shoots! 8)

As long as there is no cracking or splitting around the edge of the base you should be fine.
