well just got my T/C Omega and it looks and feels awesome!
im wondering if there is anything I need to do to break in the barrel like a regular rifle?

ive given it a good cleaning all round, to get all the grime and crap off it, anything else?

thanks in advance fellas!

Just curious, but what does the manual say to do?

I always found that shooting a couple dozen patched round balls thru a new barrel tended to make it shoot better.

A quicker way is to work several patches of bore paste (like J-Bs or Iosso) through the bore followed by a good cleaning. This will take out any rough spots that might exist in the bore and get you shooting well quickly.

But shooting the patched balls is more fun. :D

Some rifles just seem to not require a break in period. Others are a little more temperamental. For those you can shoot roundball, or conicals. Some people replace the lube with JB bore paste like Mark said.

I would suggest to get some Shockwaves and powder and shoot the rifle. See how it does.
