back in the early eighties, I bought a primer converter that used a small rifle primer instead of a #11 cap. it was similar to the current MAGSPARK that uses a 209 shotgun primer. does anyone know where I can find these? it has been shown that the 209 primer causes too much fowling since the spark hole on a 209 is much larger than the spark hole that is normal for a sidelock.

I think they were called "flam-in-gos". Like flamingos but with the flame part emphasized. They are very rare, I have never seen one except in a book.

Perhaps flea bay might have one but I doubt it.
