Traditions Vortek - Warne Steel Bases Issue

Per subject line, bought above from Midway Arms. Unfortunately, the holes appear to be too shallow for the screws supplied and bottomed out before bases were tightened. Bought a Traditions set as Bass Pro for about half the price of the Warne set, so I'll see how they work. But just wanted to pass this along.

This seems to happen quite a bit.I remedy this by just taking a file and taking a little off the bottom of the screw.I also think the Warne bases and rings are some of the best you can buy IMO.
