I read a review in The American Hunter on that rifle. It was 11 pounds. And it was reasonable in the accuracy department. I just do not see the need for a double, but it would be fun to shoot.

Actually...It COULD be quite useful....EXPECIALLY on a HOG hunt! 8) RIGHT JJ?

dbl gun

I have thrown that up before. but there is still something about the sxs persussions that make me go WOW. I guess I read to many African hunt books. Have those big dbl guns for dangerous game.

A friend of mine has one of those and he loves it. He is using black powder under a conical but not sure of the exact numbers. He has dropped several deer out to 100 yards with no problems. You are right as it is a beast and I wouldn't want to be carrying it afield without knowing I was headed to a stand and going to stay there.
