I'm considering picking one up, they look pretty good to me...

Nope.. that's one I do not have. Nice looking rifle. Kind of like a Sharps almost without the breech. What caliber and rate of twist does that rifle have? Does that tag say .58 caliber? Nice looking wood, and a verneer tang peep sight.. normally those are put on long range guns.

I Have a pristine one in .45cal(.451) i'ts a tack driver My Dad and I worked for H&R when these guns were assembled in fact some of them carry our inspection stamps on the breech plugs and lockplates. (circle G/circleR)

That looks like my Navy Arms Zouave without the patch box and with the stock shortened to use only one barrel band.
