Question I should already know...

I should know the answers to this but I have to admit I have always just bought the 250 gr. Shockwaves at wally world or my local gunshop. But, who makes the bullets and who makes the sabots that T/C packages as the Shockwaves? Im assuming Hornady for the bullets and MMP for the sabots? Anyone know for sure?

I think you are correct on both questions. There was a thread very recently that talked about this. I'll see if I can find it

Yes, Hornady makes the Shockwaves, for TC the SST is basicly the same with a diferent tip. As to the sabot I don't know.

Forest was right on the bullet, Hornady SST and according to the info I found the sabot is the MMP HPH-24. Thanks guys.

Hey 54!!

You can but the bullet in bulk...from Hornady under the name Hornady FTX!
Cabelas has them now, but why pay shipping....have your local sporting goods or gun store purchase for you on their next Hornady order.
