ML Season not open/Archery is!!

ML season opens in Va. on Oct. 31.....always a good day.....however Archery is kickin!!

Wednesday afternoon, 6:55 PM, 25 yards, Excalibur Exomax, 2216, 125 grain Sonic, 446 grains at 317 fps, double lung, 150 yard blood trail.

Congrats! Great deer. No crossbow season here. I've been thinking about dusting off the PSE Elite to try for my first deer with a bow.

Real nice buck, Kansas does not have a cross bow season for most of us and I would love to try one out one of these days.

I was about 30 feet up a Poplar tree when he came through just before dark....20 yard shot, 150 yard recovery, double lung, 18.5 inch spread. I will not do a shoulder mount, but will put the antlers on a board.
