Well?? You like? Generally speeking how do they shoot?

What weight bullet would be the best to shoot in that shorter barrel?

I shot 250 gr XTP's in sabots, and 348 gr powerbelts. I shot with 70-80 gr of pyro p. With open sights both were right about and inch at 50 yards from the bench. Both worked on deer out to that range. I love the length and weight when hunting in the brush. It carries very well.

Can anyone tell me what one would go for? The one I'm looking at is prolly 15yrs old and is in at least 98-99% condition!!! The guy has taken perfect care of this!! Very nice rifle.

He's asking $250 dollars. What do they go for brand new? help! :)

Smoke,
I cant vouch for how they shoot as I have never owned one, but I saw a used one for sale recently at a flea market here in Indiana and the asking price was $225, it looked like new on the outside, cant speak for the condition of the bore though. Used sidelocks in good to excelent condition average $200-250 here. If they look rough or have rusty bores you can pick one up for $100. Hope that helps.
