I was recently in Australia. I shot kangaroos with an ex-policeman. We used his Browning A-Bolt .223 WSS. He said that they are not allowed to have any pistols, semi-auto or pump shotguns or rifles, but hunters are allowed to own bolt action and single-shot rifles and shotguns.

I also was with a non-hunter in Sydney who told me that his British .303 and his air rifle was confiscated, and he was left without any firearms.

This is why I bought a pump-up Crosman pellet gun for my 6 year old son on his birthday. He is not big enough to pump it, so I have to be with him when he shoots it (I wouldn't let him shoot it alone anyway). I bought it in case there won't be any new pellet guns available when he is 10 years old.

I don't intend to register any of my guns (if it comes to that) and don't intend to give any of them up if confiscation come to the USA.
