Bought his gun a few weeks ago and decided I'd do a quick makeover 'till trapping season was over. Still need to wet sand the stock and subdue my torch work then final coat will be applied. I need the bench space for hides, notice the white stuff all over my workbench, that's borax I use when putting them on the stretcher to speed drying. This will make a good truck gun until I sell it or my grandson adopts it. At $125.00 I couldn't go wrong even though it's not a "keeper" underhammer.
