Hello from New Mexico

Hopefully I will get drawn for an elk hunt this year. As most of you know the Gila Widerness is a prime area for Elk here in N.M. This will be my first hunt with a Muzzleloader ever. I have shot plenty of Elk and Mule deer with my Browning 30.06 .I got a new T.C. Omega with a Nikon Omega scope from Cabela's and have shot it about 10 times. I tried 777 powder and it is filthy. I bought some BH 209 from my local Sportsmans warehouse and love it. Still sighting it in and can't wait to see what it will do. Good luck to everyone on their hunts this year.
