Ok I'm really done this time. The wife is getting pissed everytime I run back to my local Outdoors Store. I got Burris Zee Medium rings. I have the same rings on my shotgun right now. I guess my question is...is the scope still too high?

As long as when you shoulder the gun you are looking into the scope with a clear field of view, that is really all that is important.

For me it is. I like my scopes as close to the barrel as possible. On my Triumph I had a Bushnell 3-9X40 in Warne Low rings. But if you are happy with the way it is now I'd quit worrying and go shooting.

I would try the Zee low rings to see if you have clearance for the front bell. I always put Butler Creek pop open covers on my scopes so I have to allow for that too. Although I have an older Vari-X II 3-9x40 on my SS Disc Elite, I think a 2-7x32 is the perfect set up.
