The larger boar and the banded sow were in one trap. The large boar weighed around 275 pounds, the smaller boar around 200 pound and the sow about 250 pounds.

all kidden aside, is it better tasting than domestic pig? I never had wild boar before. but would like to try it. not found in stores up here in the NORTH EAST.

The meat from a fat wild hog is much better than the pen raised stuff at the supermarket. The meat don't look like the pale domestic stuff.

Wild hogs are not fed growth hormones or antibiotics.

Organic pork? Thanks for posting.
