i shot an ok 2" group, just a hair over. 3 shots at 100 yards . group was 2 inches high then the flyer went a little more than tat. i may have caused the flyer, so i am not doing any more shooting until my Bellm pin gets here. the shock waves had the same poi, but were hard to load, even though they are super glides. i guess i will stay with the sst low drag bullets.

i completely cleaned the barrel the night before and lapped the barrel for 100 strokes, replacing the compound every 50 strokes

Why would you lap the barrel???

This is roughly doing the samething as shooting the rifle to break in the barrel. TC use to say that at least 50 shots were needed to break in their inline barrels.

It takes a long time to break in a barrel,shooting sabots in the barrel. Try some full bore conical bullets,or lap the bore some. Some guns come with rough bores. Ron
