just got my new omega. the gun is 42" long and i am going to order a case for it and wondered if a 44" inch case would be long enough? when a case says it's 44", does that mean the actual case is 44" or that it will fit a gun 44" long? i'm thinking about a bulldog extreme from midsouth.

These are what I use to move my guns from the woods to the range. They are a hard case and seem to protect the rifle real nice. Also the cost of them will not break the bank... Plenty of room in them for even some of the biggest rifles.
