The recoil pad on my Disc Elite with the normal black synthetic stock is ripped. Not sure if contact cement will repair it. Is there anyway to get a replacement recoil pad? Were the stocks farmed out to anyone so that a pad from another model would fit? Looks like the stock has a recess at the but so that the pad snaps inside a groove. No screws.

The Elite recoil pad does have 2 screws holding it on. In the center of the top and bottom of the pad you can find 2 small slits in the surface of the pad. Press around on it and you will find them. Mine had 2 phillips screws in it. The pad does have a recess in it to "Key" the pad to the stock. You have 3 options for replacing it. Get the one from the above poster, call Knight and order one, or you can get a Simms, or pachmyer, then Sand the raised portion of the stock down so that it is flat and square. Then screw on the new pad and sand it down to match the stock profile. Easiest option is to contact jsteurrys and get the one he is offering.
