Hornady LOCK -N -LOAD ??

Has anyone used these sabot before? Do they perform as good as a normal sabot? Are there advantages to having the pellets attached? I picked up a pack of 250gr. from the local box store this week-end. Have'nt gone to the range yet. Any pros or cons would be appreciated.

I have not used thembut having the pellets aattched is more for your convienence. I have a friend try them and he had to beat the sabot down the barrel.

To be honest, I think it was the "???" idea Hornady ever had to make those things.

I tried them out of my omega last year but my gun did not like them to much.....best grouping i could get @ 100yds was about 4-5 in group as far as i can remember.Hope they shoot good for you.let us know how she does with those bullets.

I'm not crazy about the idea either. For the most part I think the idea/product flopped.
