should have gone this route to begin with, but I am here now. I want QR rings on my muzzleloader for ease of cleaning, and I would like steel for strength and piece of mind. I am looking at the following rings/bases, any input would be appreciated. Scope is a Burris FFII 3-9x40.

The only steel weaver style bases I can find for my rifle are the warne, so all cross slot style rings would have to go on those.

1) Warne maxima QD rings on warne maxima bases
2) Leupold QRW rings on warne maxima bases
3) Burris QD zee rings on warne maxima bases (why doesnt burris make a QD signature zee? Then I would just go with those)
4) Weaver grand slam lever lock on warne maxima bases
5) Leupold QR rings and bases

Cost is pretty similar on all of the above systems with the exception of the weaver rings, which for some reason are a lot cheaper than the others.

Any other options I am missing that fit the above critera?

For Weaver bases I have both the Leupold and the Warne rings and they have both worked well--rock solid and always return to zero. I definitely prefer the Warnes though. They are easier to mount and "line up" IMO.
