Cabelas has a couple of rifles im interested in. one is the sporterized hawken carbine, the other is the kodiak express double rifle. Anyone out there ever used one? What is the knockdown power of the 72? I bet that one is a bone crusher. Anyother makers out there with comparable rifles?

Should you use Felt wads with conicals? My encore really shoots the 410 grain great plains bullets accurately. I was shooting them just sitting on top of t7 pellets. But I recently read that a felt wad should be used. What do you guys think?

Just bought a bottle of T17 for the heck of it. Feels, smells just like armor all. Seems to work okay. But heck water works okay too. Probably wont buy another bottle anytime soon. The little spray bottle is nice!

Is there a ramrod available for the encore that lets you keep a jag attached to it while it is in the stock? I cant believe they expect you to put your jag on every time. Plus Im always looking for it and worrying that I forgot it somewhere.
