Ive been wantin to replace my regular camo stock on my Accura with a camo Thumbhole stock. After checking classifieds for a while on several different sites I called CVA and ordered a buttstock they said 7-10 days. A little over 2 wks later I gave them a call to see if it had been shipped ,they said no and didnt know why it hadnt shipped. So the rep then told me he just sent it through and I'll have it 7-10 days. I needed some filler screws for where I removed my front sight and rear sights and was told they would get them right out. Its been a little over 2 weeks again, and I just got back from turkey hunting upstate and while I was gone the filler screws came. I called CVA again today and went through the story again and same thing happened ,the rep didnt know why the order didnt go through and wasnt shipped. I asked if my card was billed and he said yes when I first ordered. I was just so frustrated from waiting I told him to cancel the order and refund my card. Guess I'll just have to go the classifieds route again......wish I would have ordered the Thole stock originally.

i ordered my filler screws the day after you mentioned getting them. I got mine a week later.

Yea that sucks, I called CVA about the scope mounting hole screw size in my Accura and they acted like I was bothering them. Not a real help at all. Its not just CVA. I called TC several months ago to get some filler screws for my Triumph and they never came either. I guess these companys dont realize that great customer service breeds repeat customers.

i've also been trying to get a thumbhole stock for my accura ,i keep getting told that they have none in stock! and try and call back later.it's been 3mo and still no luck.i gave up on my filler-screws months ago.if you find any stocks plz share your info i would like one by this fall.

Do you get the filler screws from CVA and do you have to call or can you order the on line

You have to call. Make SURE its clear what you are ordering. Tell them what you have and tell them that you scoped the rifle but need the screws that fill the open sight holes. I normally talk to Danny.

CVA

I called CVA awhile ago on a Monday to order some filler screws for my Accura. They were very courteous and my screws arrived at my house on Thursday of the same week. Only 4 days! Can't ask for better than that.

Call them up and they will send the filler screws right out no problem, the rep was nice and seemed like he wanted to help but was clueless as to why twice my order wasnt filled. If I locate a source for a T hole stock I'll post it if anyone knows someone who might want to trade or sell one let me know. Thanks guys

In all honesty all my business with CVA directly has been positive. They even found me the very last Kodiak laminated thumbhole stock they had. Plus only charged me about $80 with shipping and included the hardware i needed to convert it to fit my WinApex.

What a nice piece of wood for only $80.

I found a forum where a CVA employee posted they had the stocks. The post was about 8 months old but i gave it a try and called him. At first he couldnt find one but then called me back the same day and told me they found one more in the gun shop.

Its one of the reasons i bough an Accura...CUSTOMER SERVICE. :D And it wasnt even a true CVA branded product.

Thats why i buy Knights now.....outstanding CUSTOMER SERVICE. ;) Sam and AL went above and beyond to get my LK93 (non warranty work) going again for FREE in roughly a week total.
