Any body use KIK Black Powder? Just looking for how it compares to others.

Can't help. Never used it. But I've seen reports on other forums by shooters that were happy with it and said is was pretty comparable to GOEX, but slightly dirtier.

I have shot Kik powder and liked it. It is about the same as Goex. Lots of smoke. And like Goex dirty, but who cares. Its a good powder. If you normally shoot Goex and can get Kik cheaper I could see shooting it. Another good powder to check out is Graf's & Sons black powder. It is made by Wano, cheaper then Goex and about identical to the way Goex behaves.

Cayuga, thanks for that input.
Would you say that GOEX is equal to T7 for power? Less I would think.

Is Swiss really as good as some guy's say?

Goex IMO is a little less powerful then even Pyrodex RS. And we know that Pyrodex RS is about 15% less powerful then Triple Seven. I do not judge powders by how strong they are but how good they shoot.

Swiss is a good powder. It is a lot more powerful the Goex. And it burns cleaner. Although it is a lot more expensive. It is a nice powder to shoot.

goex

I kinda like the smoke from Goex when I shoot my flinter! Except of course when I end up getting a lungfull of it.

When I was shooting 120 grains of Goex out of the Genesis yesterday, you'd pull the trigger and whole yard would look like a fog bank. I have no reason why, maybe its the kid in me (as I was known for doing a lot of "thing" in my youth) but I got such a kick out of the smoke, and the gun. Thank goodness the winds was a cross wind and blew it out into the woods. :D
