These are what i used for a long time but i forgot where i got them. These are metal brushes used to clean shotgun or other semi auto gas ports.

2 sizes for just $5 at most gun shops.

Proshot Shotgun port cleaning brushes. Item #PORT

These are pretty small so one of them should work in most flash channels.

Good idea!! I have used pipe cleaners for years, but didn't like them in the encore BP cause they left alot of fibers in the channel....those days are gone though. 8)

i was thinkin about tryin the tip cleaners that you use for a gas (acedaline) sp) torch tips, they make a little set of tiny file like metal wire thingy's. do you guys know what i mean and do ya think they would work?

I use torch pics only on the flash "hole" now. The flame channel leads upto the "hole" and it quite a bit larger. These brushes or the correct drill bit cleans the channel MUCH better than pics.

Use pics carefully too. They can be a bit rough on the hole if the breach plug is a softer material. On the Lehigh liners that are very hard the pics are pretty safe to use.

Been there and i used them for many years until the guys here talked me into using the correct sized drill bit on the channel. They are really safe and fast used by hand.

CVA or T/C I forget who makes a set of brushes just like those that I use and they work great. I picked them up at a local Wal Mart. They were in about that same price range

I have a couple of those sets also.
Comes with a breech brush and a small brush like that.
