New IA guy here!

Just joined up today. Been shooting a muzzy for 6 years and recently picked up my second one to add to my obsession.

Being from Iowa I am a Knight owner and was saddened to see Knight Rifles go under but hope to see them return to making rifles some day.

I like hunting, fishing and spending time with the fam.

Looking forward to learning a lot as I still consider myself quite the muzzleloading rookie.

Welcome! I can't wait until this years hunting season! I never touched my shotgun for Iowa's hunting season last year and I'll probably never use it again. Muzzy hunting for deer is just too much fun!

Funny that you say that. Last year marked the last season I used a slug gun during shotgun season. I missed a nice doe at 25 yards with my 870 and vowed the rest of the season and my life to only shoot my muzzle loader going forward. The very next day I smoked a nice doe with my Knight off hand at 60 yards. I love my muzzy and I have the most confidence shooting it. Just aim and pull, the bullet goes where it should. :yeah:
