Has anyone ever had that happen? I remember years ago i found that my shooting glasses, basically just sunglasses that wont shatter, hurt my groups. Today i relived that all over again. I went out to the 100 yard range on the solid rest and shot 3 shots with the Optima and Thors. To my surprise they were in a 2 1/2" group!

First 3 shots with my shooting glasses on

I took the glasses off and fired 4 more shots,

Anyone ever run into this problem? I like being able to use the glasses as my sight picture with open sights is much more clear.

Today we updated the shooting table and added 12" length and a side section so the Lead sled would be more comfortable to use. Worked like a charm too.

Make sure the feet on the sled are not in one of the cracks on your deck boards. It will throw ur shots everywhere if all the feet are not on a flat surface. Just my experience using one. Caldwell advised me that the sled needs to free recoil.

I use a pair of Smith and Wesson shooting glasses. The bright yellow ones. I have never really noticed a diifference either way in accuracy. The glasses brighten everything up and make for a great sight picture. I much prefer to shoot with them on.

I have some new glasses, they are youth glasses,I have a small head (no comments)I have not tried them yet but I will.
I don't need anything hurting my groups,I do that just fine on my own :?

Depending on the time of day I shoot, I sometimes have to wear sun glasses (not shooting glasses) and find that they allow me to see the target better and the detail of the everything. I bought them cheap at Wal Mart. You see them advertised on TV sometimes. They have actually improved my shooting scores.

I seem to always have smudges and sweat vapor on my glasses about the time I need to shoot at game, so I have learned to push them down on my nose just a bit when I shoot and aim just over the top of the glasses. Still protects my eyes and gives me a better sight picture.

I have used them for many years in competition and practice and the only problem I have run into is when the sun can hit the lens from the side it can distort like heat waves which will spread a group to. I used to try to shoot early in the morning; more people are beat by wind and heat waves than by skill. The only other thing I have run into is some cheap ones a friend thought he got a great deal on that were not actually shooting glasses and the lenses were not perfect and distorted things. Lee
