Does anyone know of any companies that make aftermarket upgraded triggers for todays modern muzzleloaders?

Which gun or generally speaking?

I saw your post in the Traditional section of the forum and they gave several options. Im assuming now you mean a modern style inline. Many of them already come with high quality triggers.

How high quality do you require?

I have a Knight Disc Extreme. I would like a trigger that has adjustments as to pull and overtravel. A light 1 to 3 pound pull would be nice.

A Knight Extreme trigger is pull/creep adjustable and a trigger from a LRH is also adjustable for over travel according to Knights website.

Check with Knight and see if a LRH trigger will fit if the Extreme trigger isnt good enough for you.

Sabotloader sent me this and it made a lot of difference on my Extreme. My Elite just needed a tiny adjustment. Over travel isnt that bad to me on the Discs but i would like to try a Long Range Hunter trigger sometime.

GM54-120, thank you for the help. Do you know how light the Disc Extreme trigger can be safely adjusted? Once again thank you!

Im not sure either. Guessing...mine is around 3lbs.

Be careful and hope it works out for you. My Extreme still isnt quite perfect but it should break in a bit. My GMB54 which is basically an Extreme was perfect right out of the box.

I'm pretty happy with my Knight trigger too, right out of the box. This is for hunting of course, & I can be a little picky about a good trigger. I stay at 2.5 or up for hunting, 3lbs is pretty good.

Mine are all set at 2.75 lbs with no creep and very little over travel. You should be go to go in the 2.5 lb to 3.0 lb range.

After setting it light and with the creep the way you like, VERIFY THE SAFETY WORKS.

Make sure its all safe and functions properly. I too am very finicky about my triggers. Ive sold guns i liked just because i could not solve a poor trigger problem.

Going very light and no creep can be a bit tricky to make it safe also. I have no idea how low they will go but IMO under 2lbs could be pushing the safety limits. Just an opinion.

I never go under 2.75-3lbs on a hunter and under 2lbs on my "snipers" even if they will go lower. Its just a ME thing and i shoot just fine with a 3lber and no/little creep. Creep i hate the most. My old WinAPex had very little creep but a non adjustable roughly 4lb crisp trigger. Its was/is a very nice gun for the money.

They usually have a fully adjustable Timney trigger assy in them. Mine does.

Get ahold of Knight to see if they still adjust them for free. I sent them the triggers to both of my disc elites to have the over travel and creep removed. I also wanted to have the pull set at 2.5 lbs. Turn around was about a week and they picked up the cost of the return shipping. Top notch customer service in my book. Both the triggers are Timneys.
