I wanted to update my shooting range, Cardboard boxes that melt after rain or snow got on my nerves so i got 4 of these. Two for my range and 2 for the traveling range whenever i go out to the NRA. Sick and tired of having to "share" targets with others at the range because some moron with a double barrel shot gun thought it was fun to blow the target legs off all the stands.

Pretty sturdy little set up, simple and easy to replace once the backboard gets shot out. I set one up at my 50 yard range today and took the Accura out to zero it in. Should be perfect for 100 yards as soon as the wind stops.

My sand trap set up behind it.

Accura is set up with open sights and i was cutting hole after hole at 50 yards.

Going to clean up the 100 yard range tomorrow and then get another one set up to go. Nice set up to have though for the price.

I just remove campaign signs when the polls close. They use a plastic that looks like cardboard and i have a nice stock pile of them now.

I usually remove the ones for the Liberal candidates first and if it has a pic i already have a good Zombie target. :p

Rain doesnt hurt them and the thicker ones even hold upto the wind "ok". They look pretty much like yours.

Steel plates are my favorite if im leaving them out long term. All you need is 2 cans of paint (orange and white) and they are like new again. Its easy to see the paint blown off and hear them ring. :D

I made mine out of 3/4 PVC and it is light weight, comes apart and is easy to put together and cheap. Although I got mine too close to my steel trap and splatter fragments ended up putting a few holes in it.

I find em in peoples yards...all over town....they just leave em lying around the yard...free!!!

I got the new range all set up. I do need to get some new sand buckets and put one behind each target.

2 targets at 100 yards. One for open sights *smaller target* and one for scoped muzzy. Also put one at 75 yards and have one near the house thats 50 yards.

That is a dandy setup you have there. Sure beats having to drive to a club to shoot.

Uc,

Have not heard from you for a while. Glad to see you made it thru another winter and are above ground.
