Went down to a dealer that has them and he sold me the ss/black combo for 464. I took it home and cleaned it and I have to say it is one of the nicer muzzleloaders I have owned.

I bought his last muzzleloader and it was on the display rack...he has a few on order but so does everyone else I checked with. He said CVA probably will not ship anymore until June-July .

THere is one Apex at the Cabela's in Roger's MN. It was there on Sunday anyway. I think it was around $525.00.

I have not shot it yet. I have not had it a week yet but in the next few I will shoot it. The guy behind the counter showed me plenty of groups that he shot with his and they are very impressive.

Make sure you get a ball-head 2.5mm socket wrench to make removing the firing pin a much easier job. Also, if like me you like the trigger tweaked down to its lightest setting, you might find that adjustment screw protruding to be at least annoying. My solution was to simply shorten the screw. :)

Glad to hear of someone else getting one, nice rifles!

UC, thanks for the tip on the Ball head socket. The guy that sold it to me set it to 2.5 lbs, it is a very nice trigger in my opinion. I am impressed with the lockup, stoutness, feel and the barrel of this rifle. The bore shines like a brand new penny and is smooth as Silk. Great Design
