Omega Stock

Looked at a thumbhole stocked Omega @ Cabelas yesterday.It was synth. camo. When I shouldered it I immediately noticed a more comfortable feel than with my synth. (reg.) stock. I looked at the lines of the stock more closely and I could see some cast off in the butt portion.Wondering if all of the Omega thumbhole stocks are like this,dosn't seem like the laminated ones would have this.

I have both a synth (black) and a laminate. I really havent looked at them to see if there any differances but I will take a look & report back. I know that when ordering a Sims recoil pad, they are different for synth & lam. Either way, I can tell you that they both feel awesome. I never really liked the looks of the thumbhole stocks. Always thought they were ugly and wondered why anyone would want one until I picked one up and shouldered it. I fell in love! Also I was always leaning towards camo but got a deal on the black. Glad I got the black because I actually like the black better now but really like the laminate the best.

I ordered the lam one for my z5 and it made a world of differents in the feel of the gun. I have shouldered the plastic one also and it does feel much better than the original plastic. But for me I just dont like plastic on a fine firearm.
