that is a great camper you have there. I thought of buying one but changed my mind. I used to camp a lot when I was younger.

beautiful scenery ..the SKI DOO brings back memories i had 5 of them and used to enjoy them also ..i hope u were not alone when you got stuck in the snow ...this year we have almost no snow on the ground 6" at the most ..deer are in great shape but we still have 5 weeks and can get nailed at any time with a blizzard ..all of our snowmobile trails are closed ,the ATV trails are open and hard packed trails are in top shape ..

I'm very envious Pinks. What is you job title? I'm stuck here in an office every single day working with nine women

That sounds like a great outdoor job! I found out from my mom that my granddad (her dad) valued timber for a living here in West Alabama probably around the 1920's or 1930's. That was when you walked around with a yardstick looking....I guess you called it a cruiser stick or a tree stick and actually measured and valued each tree for a land owner or sawmill company. Something about taking measurements, stepping back from the tree so many steps and holding the measuring stick up, taking a sight reading and estimating the board-feet of a tree using a scale on the stick. I would like to have one of those sticks just for a keep-sake from my granddad's work. It's interesting how things have evolved. My dad's family was also in forestry work in Southwest Arkansas about the same time or later. They were the actual tree cutters, all interesting. My brother Chuck and I were in Ontario several years ago black bear hunting and I couldn't believe the size of the white pines up there...beautiful country.

Cool piece of family history there Harry1!! I love to here stuff like that!!
