Got a sample pack of Thor conicals coming to cram down my Accura. How do measure the pressure to push em down? Ive heard bathroom scales, gotta be a better way.

IMO you dont even bother with the scale, You'll know if its to loose or if its way to tight. You want them to load firmly, without having the veins in your forearm pop out while pushing one down. My Accura takes the .500 thor.

If you want to get a feel for it, take and put you gun on the bath room scale and either set it on "0" or subtract the weight of the gun try to get at least 60 pounds on as reguler pratice. I built a rig to test that and found if you get at least 60 pounds then it takes a lot more difference above that to affect POI. Lee

I like to seat 'firmly' when loading with B209. Do we look for a torque wrench with every screw or bolt we tighten? No we don't. Just snug it in well, no pounding allowed.
