The great state of Minnesota is going to let me use a 1 power scope during the muzzleloader season thanks in part to my bad eyes and the eye doctor sighning the form. I have no expertise as to who makes a good one. LET ME HAVE IT GUYS!!!!!

Does a 1x scope help much over carrying binoc's & using iron sights? We have a 1x scope limit during the M-L season too. If I fall under those restrictions I use iron sights. I'm mostly asking because I've not used a 1x scope before.

1x scope offers no magnification, it just gives you a crosshair that will be on the same focal plane as the target. This eliminates bluring fron or rear sights or even a bluring target.

I agree that it help with blurring, especially in low light. I use the Cabelas alaskan guide and have been happy with it.
