Here are a couple photos of my daughters first deer, this also the first year she has hunted or even shot any kind of a long gun.
She made a great 70yd. shot at this deer and as you can tell by the photos she was as happy as could be with her trophy! She took this deer with my old Knight 50Cal. MK85

:D 8) :)

No explanation as to how she felt :!: The smile says it all. You have a great hunting partner there. CONGRATS TO THE BOTH OF YOU :!: :!: :!:

Great deer! I still hunt with a mk 85. What load did you have her use?

She was using 90gr. of Pyrodex RS Loose, 250gr. Hornady SST w/ MMP Black sabot and a Winchester 209 primer. I bought this rifle the year she was born (1987) and have been using 90gr. from day one, I did the 209 primer conversion just 2 years ago along with swicthing from the XTP to the SST bullet. The rifle still shoots great! This rifle has a 20" barrel that Knight only had in production for a short time after that you had to custom order it that way.

That's terrific. A day neither of you will ever forget.

Way to go there young lady... that is a fine buck. And a great shot you made. Going to be some real good eating there. Next year you can shoot a bigger one...
