in the closeup of the buck, you can see he has only one eye. i was very fortunate to get him, it has been a slow season all the way through. how is every one else doing? any new yorkers having luck?
 
stats

180 field dressed, 18.5 inside spread 115 yard shot TC Encore Pro Hunter. 2 White hot pellets, 250 grain SST high speed low drag, Leupold 3.5-10x40mm scope . a little before 7 am i was going to shoot a different buck then this guy came out and chased him away. he wasnt so lucky
 
very nice buck congrats,now if only a blind buck will walk out for me maybe i can get one!

Dang! that is an impressive looking animal... wish we grew whitetail like that around here... there are a few but few and far between up here...

That is an awesome 6 pointer, he really has some nice mass. Congrats! Today is our opener, didnt see a thing this morning, hope my afternoon sit is more productive.

I didn't get anything this year here in maine, Passed on a small 6 early fall , Missed one the last week of rifle season and didn't see anything except does during muzzleloader.
Very slow year here state wide.

Man that is a great buck. Congrats! Where in NY are you? I live on the Island but used to hunt in the Cats just above Ellenville. Have not been up there in a long while though.

Thats a nice deer, I like the character of him being an old fighter and only having one eye.
